You join as Member. Your rank then depends on your own active SBB and on the people you invite directly. It is checked again whenever these change, so it can go down as well as up.

Matching
Matching,Up to 15 Levels.
Earn from SBBs placed below you, up to 15 levels down.
Every 10 g of your SBB is one lot. Matching waits as Pending SP, then moves to Active SP on day 31 once you have sponsored 5 lots.
Matching for the whole SBB goes into Pending SP on day one.

What do I need to start?
10 g of SBB or more, added up across your SBBs. When it is Active, you're in.
How are the two trees different?
Sponsorship tree: who invited whom. It sets your rank and your sponsor bonus. Auto Placement tree: everyone placed automatically, 5 under each spot. It's where matching comes from.
How do ranks work?
You join as Member. Silver: your own active SBB of 0.25 g or more. Gold: 5 direct Silver members, each holding 10 g of SBB or more, added up. Diamond: 5 direct Gold members. Platinum: 5 direct Diamond members. A rank goes back down when its condition is no longer met.
Who can invite?
Silver and above. Open an SBB of 0.25 g to become Silver and get your own link.
What is a lot?
Every 10 g of active SBB, added up across one member's SBBs; 20 g is two lots. Your own lots are your places in the matching tree. The lots of the people you invite yourself open your matching: with 5 of them, all 15 levels open.
What happens to matching before I reach 5 lots?
It waits as Pending SP. It moves to your Active SP 31 days after the SBB below you is placed, once you have sponsored 5 lots.
When does matching start?
The day an SBB below you is placed. Its matching for every month goes into your Pending SP at once, and moves to Active SP on day 31.

Special Buyback (SBB)
916 gold under a written agreement, with a beneficiary you name. SP every 30 days, for 6 cycles.
